At Leapfrog, we’re recognized as leaders in our field. But perhaps more importantly, we’re often told that we’re great people to work with. We’re creative and talented without being all big-headed about it. Our clients like to have lunch with us. Even dinner. And they think of us as part of their big extended corporate family. They like that. And so do we.
It’s a combination of years of experience, business smarts, professional development, unique skills, creativity, a deep dedication to our clients, and other qualities too intangible to put into words. One of our clients called it our secret sauce.
Everyone here at Leapfrog is exceptionally easy to work with. Our team is intentionally small—kind of a team-building and learning boutique—so we can work very closely with our clients. But we have everyone you need—client service folks, program designers, logistics mavens, and (of course) our remarkable facilitators and consultants. While we’re a team of truly diverse backgrounds and specialties, we all share a common commitment to helping our clients succeed by tapping the power of their people.
We don’t like talking about ourselves that much. We’d rather let our clients tell you about us. Or talk about you and what you need. But here’s the deal—when you work with Leapfrog, you can be sure that you’ll get results that go way beyond what you anticipated. And you—and your learners—will have a great experience and lots of fun along the way.

In his free time, Ed lolls around his pond with his friends and dozens of offspring, who rely on him for advice, interactive fun, and bugs.

Dick Eaton is a people development consultant, designer of experiential learning simulations that help folks catch themselves being themselves. He’s recognized by his colleagues and clients as the thrumming creative thought engine behind Leapfrog Innovations. Those who have worked with Dick know him as a one-on-one type who prefers the role of servant/leader. What’s more, he’s known as a guy who doesn’t like team building! This healthy skepticism makes him successful as one of the drivers of Leapfrog’s unique designs. He designs for folks who are resistant to conventional team building and sit-in-your-seats learning.
Dick creates large-scale, interactive, fun-to-participate-in experiences that break down barriers, build camaraderie, encourage innovation, activate complex learning content, and help people and companies work and learn more effectively. Dick knows business. He spent years in the corporate arena as a sales manager at Procter & Gamble, as an account exec at Mintz & Hoke and Cabot Advertising. At Staples and The Office Superstore, he served on the founding team as the director of marketing. This experience explains why Leapfrog’s unique programming can walk the fine line between fun and substantive business results.
You may have read about Dick and his work in Fortune Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, Boston Globe, Training Magazine, or Tom Peters’ On Achieving Excellence. But please don’t ask him to talk about himself—he would rather talk about Leapfrog and his clients. On Wednesday, you won’t find him in the office—that’s when he paints.

Jodi is a people and pet person and her specialty is listening. She loves building relationships with her clients and when she says, “how are you?” she really means it.
Jodi comes from a playful background having received her Masters in Therapeutic Recreation from Springfield College. She made the transition from Recreation Therapist to Sales Executive over 20 years ago, following her kidney transplant from her sister, Joy. Jodi is most proud of her son Jacob, whom she and her partner adopted from Guatemala 8 years ago. In her spare time you can find Jodi playing with her dogs, Wilson (a Cocker Spaniel) and Goofy (a Pug), watching Jacob snowboard down a mountain, enjoying a good meal with friends and cheering for the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and Celtics.

Chris has been leading groups, building teams, and developing personal awareness since before she could walk. Well, maybe not that long. But organizational development is part of her DNA. At Leapfrog, she’s actively involved in program creation, design and execution, and all the programmatic logistics. Working with groups from 10 to 500, Chris makes learning look easy and fun. “I love seeing people go from cross-armed to talking, laughing, singing, and having one of those moments where they truly learn something that you know is going to stick,” she says. When she’s not keeping teams focused, laughing, and learning, Chris may be found bicycling, hiking, and traveling.

Julia co-founded Leapfrog Innovations, moving from Toronto and sleeping on a futon on the floor of the office for the first five months. Those were the days! Her creative spirit can be found in many of Leapfrog’s groundbreaking programs—such as It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Hunt™ and All Fore One and One Fore All™. Now even as an independent practitioner, Julia is a very active force at Leapfrog as a facilitator/ consultant/instructional designer for select client engagements. Her work can be summed up by three key elements—an engaging process, diverse and unique learning components, and immediately applicable take-aways that impact team performance. Her work gets results and generates its own rewards. “I crossed paths with a participant two years after they took part in a community- service project,” she recalls. “She told me it was the best, most meaningful team-building program she had ever participated in!”

Anna prides herself on being able to handle whatever comes her way when she’s facilitating a program. She’s fast on her feet, drawing on her experience in motivational speaking, advertising, improvisational theater (including a stint with Chicago’s Second City troupe in the 90’s), and her Master’s degree in Psychology, which she calls her secret weapon. All this experience really pays off. “It never ceases to amaze me when I see a roomful of people transform before my eyes into an energized, focused, insightful, connected group,” she says. When she’s not helping make organizational transformation happen, Anna is an award-winning singer-songwriter who performs throughout New England—more info at www.customcraftedsongs.com.

Court is a consultant who helps organizations get business results from learning, coaching, and enterprise-wide change efforts. In more than 20 years of experience, he’s worked with a number of the Fortune 500 including: GE Capital, Home Depot, Wyeth, Genzyme, Shell Services, Unilever, Tyco, Clifford Chance, Citizens Bank/RBS, KPMG helping develop leaders, increase sales productivity, and improve processes. But he’s also made these leaning experiences interesting and compelling. “What’s often missing in a lot of team building is an activation of a fun, competitive, but collaborative spirit,” he says. “Leapfrog adds a freeing element that allows people to be their best selves as they learn and work.” When Court isn’t inspiring people to work together, he may be painting, polishing a screenplay, cycling, or playing tournament-level tennis.

Paul is a facilitator, actor, lawyer, and father—though not necessarily in that order. He practiced law in the field of intellectual property but his love of people (yes, lawyers are people) and performing led him to look beyond the legal field. He knew he had found his niche when he learned that being a Leapfrog facilitator means designing and leading fun activities that build energy and promote learning. His law training comes in handy when working to understand client needs. And his career as an actor makes him a natural for getting up in front of large groups— from 20 to 300—and keeping them engaged, entertained, and learning. When he’s not leading workshops, Paul can be found on the Boston theater scene, where he has performed in about a dozen professional productions.

Bob guides the growth and development of organizations and individuals with results-driven facilitation. He works to increase team synergy, interpersonal skills, connections, and mutual trust. He’s all about experiential learning. He’s been trained in many leading organization development methodologies. But more importantly, his years of experience give him a broad perspective that helps him understand what Leapfrog clients need and the challenges they face. “Leapfrog is different because we’re professional and relaxed at the same time,” he says. “We deliver great programs that help people learn—and have fun.” Bob isn’t all work. He’s an avid outdoorsman (and has moonlighted as an improvisational comedian).
